Central Asia Data-Gathering and Analysis Team Research Project
In 2009 Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (www.nupi.no) and OSCE Academy launched a joint research project "Central Asia Data-Gathering and Analysis Team" which will allow for further promotion of the OSCE Academy as a leading regional centre for education and research excellence. Another vital aim of this endeavor is to enhance research capacity of regional social scientists and to foster Central Asian trans-border cooperation. This project will generate regional databases and analysis on energy politics, security, transition processes, governance and regional integration.
Three sets of data on "Hydroelectric dams and Conflict in Central Asia", "Narcotics Trade and Related Issues in Central Asia" and "Language Use and Language Policy in Central Asia" are available for downloading.
