 | NewsLecture on “Resource Curse”On 24 November, 2009 Anar Ahmadov (PhD candidate) from the London School of Economics delivered a lecture on "Understanding the "Resource Curse": How Abundance can Lead to Distorted Economy, Conflict and Autocracy" at the OSCE Academy. Mr. Ahmadov's research interests range across the subfields of political economy and comparative politics and his thesis examines politico-economic determinants of fiscal policies and their implications for centralization of political institutions in oil-rich developing countries.
