A one week follow-up seminar was held from 7-11 April in Issyk-Kul. As before, participants represented regional NGOs, public associations and academicians. The training programme mainly focused on and was dedicated to the individual assignments of the participants. The concluding seminar required from participants to provide their plans of action after the theoretical part held in November 2007. Totally 20 participants have presented their implemented projects and activities targeted on gender issues, childhood protection, as well as rights of migrants and raising legal awareness among population etc. All participants were actively involved in the discussions and shared with their experiences on the local level. It is significant to note participants’ willingness to cooperate with each other and consolidate their efforts in future.
