OSCE Academy is looking for 7 applications for fulfilling current vacant
places for the two seminars on Media and Democracy for Central Asian
journalists, to be conducted on 29 SEPTEMBER - 3 OCTOBER and on 1 - 5
DECEMBER 2008.

The program's content includes practical sessions on various journalistic
styles, lectures on media and democracy, and lectures on politics, social
issues and the environmental situation of the Central Asian countries.

Successful applicants receive a scholarship which covers economy airfare to
and from Bishkek, hotel accommodation and a per diem. Regrettably, no such
funds for Bishkek residents are previewed.

articles of choice, motivation letter and a recommendation letter from your
editor/head of agency in a SINGLE file to BOTH addresses:

deadline, but we encourage you to apply as early as possible - applications
will be reviewed until the vacancies are filled.
